Introducing The Susquehanna River Archaeological Center

of Native Indian Studies

Educational Series Premier DVD !

Now on sale - SRAC's first Educational Series DVD with nearly three hours of local archaeological and historical information!

This DVD includes:

1.)  Ted Keir presents "The Wooly Mammoth Story" with many pictures and archaeological information about a wooly mammoth archaeological dig in Bradford County a few years ago. This presentation was taped during the recent "Drumbeats Through Time" event held by SRAC in October 2005.

2.) Dick Cowles, son of the late Ellsworth Cowles, presents the story of the "Wyoming Massacre" which many claim was the cause for Sullivan's March. Cowles tells the story from a unique perspective as he is a direct descendant of the only two survivors of the massacre. This presentation was taped during the recent "Drumbeats Through Time" event held by SRAC in October 2005.

3.) Deb Twigg presents "The Spanish Hill Story" starting 12- 15 thousand years ago through today. Also, the story of "Carantouan" is explained and why it is so important to our own local history. This presentation was taped during the recent presentation at the Waverly Opera House in November 2005.

4.) An extra short includes many artifacts found in our valley set to music.

All of this totals nearly 3 hours of educational information that is easily understood by both the young and old.
